Lesbian Health Initiative, Houston, Texas. "Lesbian Health Fairs." To provide self-examination training to women who may not receive it from their primary health care providers.

Video/Action Fund, Washington, D.C. "Universally Accessible Breast Self Examination Techniques Instructional Videotape." (for women with upper body disabilities, their health care providers and allied health educators.)


Local grants: National Association of Hispanic Nurses--Dallas Chapter in collaboration with the Concilio and La Voz del Anciano provided Breast Health Awareness classes for Hispanic women of all ages (14 years and older), 1998.
