Application Guidelines
Selection Criteria The foundation prefers the submission of specific proposals. The following should be included in a proposal:

1) a brief background of the organization,
2) a description of the proposed project and concise statement of the necessity for such a project,
3) an explanation of the proposed use of funds, a detailed project budget, other potential sources of funding, and a specific amount requested,
4) evidence of tax exempt status, and
5) a statement of approval of the request for funds signed by the chief administrator of the organization.

Only 501 (c) (3) qualifying organizations can be funded. Requests from universities must be transmitted by the appropriate offices, such as the Chancellor, President, or Director of Development.


Application Procedure Application form not required. Initial approach by letter on organizationıs letterhead. Send one copy of proposal.

Key Dates No deadlines. Board usually meets in June and December; final notification in six months.
