The Texas Cancer Council (TCC) became the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) through legislation passed in November 2007. The TCC Historical Database provides information regarding initiatives funded by the Texas Cancer Council for fiscal years 1986 through 2007. Annual information available in the historical database includes performing agency, project director, Texas Cancer Plan goal addressed, cancer topic addressed, geographic region served, population served, project description, materials produced, and accomplishments.
